Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics holds the Opening Ceremony of Classes for Undergraduate, Master's and Doctoral Degrees in 2021

Attending the Opening Ceremony were the representatives of leaders from functional units, specialized institutes directly under the management of the Academy and all 643 students (via Microsoft Teams software). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics delivered a keynote speech at the Ceremony Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, affirmed that for more than 70 years of construction and development, with the motto “basic, systematic, practical and modern”, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has ceaselessly innovated training contents and programs in order to improve the quality of training and fostering cadres; affirming its prestige and position as a national center for political theory research; national center for training and fostering middle and senior leaders and managers of the Party, the State and socio-political organizations; a national prestigious center for training theorists at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the theoretical sciences of Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought and a number of other social sciences and humanities. Recalling the sacred teachings of the President Ho Chi Minh: “The Party School is the one to train advanced soldiers to strive for the cause of the proletariat. All comrades are key cadres of the Party", Assoc. Professor, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam required all students to be deeply aware of the value and honor of being able to learn and be trained under the the Party school named after the Uncle. In doing so, it is important for the students to incessantly train their political bravery, cultivate revolutionary ideals; determine learning is an honor, duties, rights and responsibilities, in line with Uncle Ho's recommendations: “We have to do lifelong learning and revolutionary activities... As long as we are alive we must keep learning. Learn to work, learn to be a human, and learn be a cadre". It follows that they need to well implement the motto of linking theory with practice, turn the learning process into a process of self-study and self-research with an active and creative mindset, following suggestions and orientations offered by lecturers. The students also need to maximize their proactivity and self-discipline to turn the training process into a self-training process; respect and abide by the sense of organizational discipline, manners, lifestyle, and abide by the Academy's rules; seriously and actively participate in discussions and debates in learning and research, etc.  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam suggested that, right from the very beginning, each student and the whole class must uphold the sense of organization and teamwork spirit to build the class become a unified and disciplined collective where the completion of learning tasks are reached on the basis of mutual assistance. The opening ceremony was organized via both face-to-face and online forms For specialized Institutes, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam requested them to continue updating the lecture content on the basis of the Documents adopted at the 13th National Party Congress and the 13th Party Central Committee’s Conferences; innovating teaching methods with the motto of student-centered learning, the lecturers being the inspirators and motivators, the school being the foundation; focusing on improving knowledge levels, creative thinking capacity, closely and effectively combining theory and practice, encouraging practice integrated learning. He also demanded the Academy to ensure the good implementation of regulations for the lecturers, especially the code of conduct for lecturers of the Party School.
