* On the afternoon of March 31, visiting and working at the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Trung Y, respectfully sent greetings, New Year wishes and congratulations to the Lao People's Revolutionary Party on the 70th anniversary of its founding (1955-2025) from Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, President of the HCMA, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council to the Lao Party, State and People.
With the warm welcome of the leaders and staff of the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Trung Y said that the visit aimed to further promote and consolidate the close relationship between the two Academies; research, exchange, improve the effectiveness of training and fostering work between the two Parties and two States; discuss the MOU cooperation agreements signed between the two Academies.

* At the reception, the HCMA and the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration held a bilateral conference in order to implement the working program. Both sides discussed the meaningful and effective results in the training and fostering of cadres between the two Parties, the two States and between two Academies in the past; jointly identified the context, requirements, tasks and obstacles in the cooperation process... On that basis, the two sides would continue to deepen and further strengthen bilateral cooperation, closely and effectively coordinate in the training and fostering of cadres at all levels. * On April 1, the delegation visited and worked at the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. The working session was chaired by comrade Visouk Phomphithack, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

The two sides focused on discussing the training and fostering of leaders and managers at all levels for the Lao Party and State, with key issues such as scale, form, training programs, mechanisms, policies, and implementation methods, as well as difficulties in the process of implementation. The two sides agreed to keep on deepening and promoting cooperation, build a close and effective coordination mechanism in the training and fostering of officials at all levels. In addition, it is needed to innovate training programs and curricula following the specific conditions and practical requirements of Laos.
* At the working session with the Lao PDR's Ministry of Education and Sports, the two sides exchanged and assessed the work of sending cadres to study in Vietnam in general and at the HCMA in particular.
The results achieved in training and fostering cooperation at all levels for the Lao Party and State in recent years have been affirmed. The Deputy Minister of the Lao PDR's Ministry of Education and Sports said that cadres after training and studying in Vietnam have all met the requirements and assigned tasks, effectively contributing to the construction and development of Laos. Besides, the limitations in the process of implementation were frankly identified, especially in undergraduate and postgraduate training.

In his speech at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Trung Y shared about the current situation in Vietnam, Vietnam's efforts in implementing revolutionary changes in organizational restructuring, promoting science-technology and digital transformation, changes in the economic growth model, in determining the driving forces for development, etc. From there, it was compulsory to set out the requirement for revolutionary innovation in the content of the training program for cadres for both countries, meeting the practical requests.
With the achieved results, the visit is a vivid demonstration of the special traditional relationship and high political trust between the two countries, thereby contributing to further consolidating and tightening the special solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, the two States and the people of the two countries.
