Based on an overview of relevant research works, this dissertation clarifies the theoretical concepts of worldview on human existence (nhân sinh quan), the specific characteristics of the Edê people's worldview in Đắk Lắk Province, and the transformation of this worldview under contemporary socio-economic conditions, as well as the key factors influencing these transformations.
The findings of this study provide scientific foundations for the formulation of ethnic and cultural-social policies at the local level, thereby contributing to the enhancement of cultural and spiritual life and the sustainable development of the community.
Furthermore, the dissertation enriches the body of theoretical research on the Marxist-Leninist conception of human worldview, while offering concrete empirical evidence on the Edê people's worldview. Through this, it contributes to systematizing and expanding the scope of research on the transformation of worldviews among Vietnam's ethnic minorities in the context of modernization and integration.
New studying and surveying results:
From the results of field surveys on the socio-cultural life of the Ede people in Đắk Lắk Province, this dissertation analyzes both the positive and negative manifestations in the transformation of their worldview (nhân sinh quan), while identifying the subjective and objective causes underlying these changes. The research findings provide a scientific foundation for the preservation and promotion of the Ede people's positive human values in alignment with the requirements of sustainable development in Đắk Lắk Province in particular and the Central Highlands in general.
The dissertation proposes fundamental viewpoints and several feasible solutions to enhance the positive and mitigate the negative transformations in the Edepeople's worldview today. Specifically:
First, strengthen research and develop programs for preserving, utilizing, and promoting positive transformations while limiting negative changes in the Edeworldview;
Second, intensify communication, dissemination, and education efforts to raise awareness among the E-depeople and the broader population;
Third, create favorable socio-cultural and policy environments to support the enhancement of positive transformations in worldview;
Fourth, continue to Party and State mechanisms and policies on ethnic affairs;
Fifth,expand and strengthen cooperation, harmonizing inheritance and innovation, tradition and modernity;
Finally, promote the active role of the Ede people themselves as key agents in the ongoing transformation of their worldview./.
