Summaryof new findingsof the dissertation:

The dissertation contributes to clarifying the theoretical foundations of farmers' sense of responsibility in building new rural areas. It elucidates the concept in both narrow and broad senses, its core contents, and the factors influencing farmers' sense of responsibility in this process. This approach expands the theoretical basis for research on human consciousness and responsibility in the context of new rural development in Vietnam.

On that basis, the dissertation further contributes to the theoretical understanding of responsibility in general and of farmers' sense of responsibility in building new rural areas in particular. It can serve as a useful reference for scientific research and policy formulation aimed at enhancing farmers' sense of responsibility in new rural construction.

New Findings from Research and Field Surveys:

The dissertation also supplements the empirical evidence on farmers' sense of responsibility in building new rural areas in the South Central Region (based on field surveys conducted in the former Central Highlands from 2021 to 2024). It evaluates the strengths, limitations, causes, and emerging issues concerning: (1) Farmers' support for the Party's and the State's policies on new rural development; (2) Their sense of responsibility in implementation; and (3) Their awareness in preserving and protecting the achievements gained in the process of building new rural areas.

The dissertation proposes several feasible solutions to enhance farmers' sense of responsibility in building new rural areas in the South Central Region in the coming period, including: First, a group of solutions aimed at raising awareness and fostering farmers' positivity, proactiveness, and self-discipline; Second, a group of solutions related to economic, cultural-social, educational development, and the strengthening of national defense and security; and Third, a group of solutions focused on promoting the role of the political system in encouraging responsible behavior and enforcing discipline./.
