Opening ceremony of a training course on leadership, public policy, and gender in leadership and management

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Academy's Party Committee, Vice President of the Academy delivers an opening speech at the ceremony Taking place on June 6-11, the course aimed to provide updated knowledge on leadership, public policy, and gender in leadership; update and discuss on leadership activities in Vietnam in the past time; exchange experiences on researching and teaching the Science of Leadership and Gender in Leadership and Management subjects; thereby contributing to improving the capacity for lecturers of the Academy. In the training course, the students would study the following topics: Vietnam-the United States Trade Agreement and lessons on thinking and leadership vision; Current world situation, Russia-Ukraine conflict and lessons for Vietnam; Prevention of Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam and lessons for leaders to overcome pandemic emergency situations; Digital transformation in Vietnam; awareness, roadmap, and challenges; Policy analysis, Analysis and integration of gender into policy-making process. The delegates and the students of the training course Delivering an opening speech at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam said that many ongoing changes in the world have made a great impact on people’s life, ways of thinking and doing of organizations, communities, and countries. The reality requires lecturers of the science of leadership and public policy to understand precisely and deeply new policies of the Party and State to spread the knowledge accurately, profoundly, and with the nature of the Party to a large number of students. With that in mind, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam requested that the lecturers should select core, key, and appropriate content as well as create an atmosphere of engaging learning and lively discussion, and maximum sharing in class. He believed with seriousness, positivity, and frank sharing of unclear issues, limitations, and inadequacies in their practical activities, the students would accumulate a lot of useful knowledge and experiences as preparation for studying content and teaching methods in the coming time./.
