Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies, on February 2 presented a decision of the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies appointing Assoc, Prof, Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Politburo member, Standing Deputy Secretary and President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), as Secretary of the Academy’s Party Committee.

Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, and Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party Agencies stressed that, based on work requirements and tasks, the Politburo had decided to assign and appoint Assoc, Prof, Dr. Doan Minh Huan to the position of President of the HCMA. He expressed confidence that Huan will continue to bring into full play his experience, capacity and strength, working together with the Academy’s Party Committee and Standing Board to fulfil all assigned tasks.
Assoc, Prof, Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Politburo member, Secretary of the Academy’s Party Committee, President of HCMA said he will translate Mr Tran Cam Tu’s guidance into concrete resolutions and action programmes of the Academy’s Party organisation for the 2025–2030 term.
Building on and promoting the achievements attained by the Academy’s Party organisation, he pledged that, in his new role, he will devote utmost efforts, uphold a pioneering and exemplary spirit, strictly observe principles, and work closely with the Party Committee and Standing Board to continue leading and directing efforts to build a truly clean, strong and exemplary Party organisation.
He also underscored the determination to drive innovation, implement the resolutions of the 14th National Party Congress, the Congress of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies, and the Congress of the Academy’s Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term, the Academy’s position and prestige within the political system and society at large, particularly through concrete plans and action programmes to carry out the directives of the Permanent member of the Secretariat./.
