The dissertation establishes the concept of “the leadership of Party Committees of centrally governed cities over Revolutionary Ideal Education for youth”, it also defines and analyzes the contents and methods through which Party Committess of centrally governed cities lead Revolutionary ideal education for youth.
Novel findings derived from research and surveys:
The dissertation draws several experiences from the reality of leading Revolutionary ideal education for youth from 2015 to the present, including:
First, ensuring the direct and comprehensive leadership of Party Committees of centrally governed cities over Revolutionary ideal education for youth, while promoting the combined strength of the entire political system;
Second, placing Revolutionary ideal education for youth within the overal task of Party building in terms of politics, ideology, morality and cadres, closely associated with the objective of sustainable, civilized and modern urban development;
Third, regularly renewing the contents and methods of leadership of Party Committees of centrally governed cities over Revolutionary ideal education for youth;
Fourth, attaching importance to building the core force engaged in Revolutionary ideal education; at the same time, strengthening inspection, supervision, preliminary review, and final review, and promptly commending and rewarding exemplary collectives and individuals;
Fifth, strengthening leadership and direction in applying information technology and digital transformation in organizing and implementing Revolutionary ideal education for youth, especially in cyberspace and on digital platforms.
The dissertation proposes seven solutions to strengthen the leadership of Party Committees of centrally governed cities over Revolutionary ideal education for youth up to 2035, focusing particularly on 2 breakthrough solutions: Raising the awareness and responsibility of Party Committees at all levels, authorities, socio-political organizations, cadres, Party members, and the people in centrally governed cities regarding the position and role of Revolutionary ideal education for youth and the leadership of Party Committees in the current period; nenewing the formulation of, and leadership over the organization and implementation of, resolutions on Revolutionary ideal education for youth issued by Party Committees of centrally governed cities.
