According to Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, Head of the Organising Committee, this year’s competition unfolded as the country was entering a new stage of development.
She noted that 2026 marks the first year in which the entire Party and people concentrate on attaining the strategic breakthrough objectives set out in the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, while implementing major policies shaping the country’s development.
The new demands of the current situation necessitate continued innovation in theoretical research, closer review of practical experience, and more effective communications and public opinion guidance, thereby ensuring that political and ideological work remains a top priority in Party building.
After nearly three months, the competition received 5,983 entries, from which 505 were shortlisted for the final round.

According to Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, one of the competition's most notable features this year was the continued elevation in the quality of submissions.
She stated that most works closely followed the competition's theme, demonstrated a coherent structure and rigorous arguments, and effectively combined theory with practice.
In addition to tackling fundamental issues related to upholding, safeguarding, supplementing, and developing the Party’s ideological foundation, the authors were proactive in identifying pressing issues arising from Party building and national development.
The entries also went beyond simply outlining general conditions. Instead, they provided in-depth analysis and proffered practical recommendations to rebut false and hostile viewpoints while effectively defending the Party’s major policies.
Based on the assessments of the judging panel following the preliminary and final rounds, the Organising Committee awarded five first prizes, five second prizes, 10 third prizes, and 14 consolation prizes.
