Summary of the new results of the thesis:
New academic and theoretical contributions:
Drawing on and building upon the findings of relevant previous studies, the dissertation addresses several fundamental issues.
First, it provides a systematic examination of Ho Chi Minh’s views on building the great unity bloc among ethnic groups.
Second, it analyzes and assesses the state of efforts to build the great unity bloc among ethnic groups in Lao Cai province in line with Ho Chi Minh thought from 2015 to the present. It identifies the achievements and limitations, the underlying causes, and the issues arising from this process.
Third, it anticipates the factors likely to affect these efforts and proposes orientations and solutions for improving their effectiveness through 2030, with a vision to 2045.
New findings from the reseach and surveys:
Based on its theoretical and practical reseach findings, the dissertation identifies four issues that need to be addressed, anticipates two groups of influencing factors, and proposes three orientations and six solutions to improve the effectiveness of efforts to build the great unity bloc among ethnic groups in Lao Cai province in line with Ho Chi Minh thought through 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The findings of the dissertation help enrich the scientific and practical foundations for applying Ho Chi Minh thought to the building of the great unity bloc among ethnic groups in Lao Cai province in the new context.
They may also serve as a reference for Party committees, local authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations in building and consolidating the great unity bloc among ethnic groups in their respective localities, as well as for other localities with similar conditions.
