Regarding new contributions for academic and theories of the thesis:

On the basis of recepting and inheriting the results of researched scientific works: Firstly, the thesis has introduced the concept and role of corporate social responsibility in implementing corporate social responsibility; Secondly, the thesis has clarified the content of corporate social responsibility of enterprises in contributing to the country’s development, solving employment for laborers, implementing social welfare, social security, and protecting the ecological environment; Thirdly, the thesis has proposed evaluation criteria, influencing factors and experience in implementing corporate social responsibility of enterprises in foreign countries and Laos, from which lessons are drawn for the implementation of corporate social responsibility of the Lao National Power Corporation.

New findings from research and survery results:

The thesis analyzes and evaluates the current status of corporate social responsibility of the Lao National Power Corporation contributing to the country’s development, solving employment for laborers, implementing social welfare, social security, and protecting the ecological environment. At the same time, the thesis proposes solutions to enhance the effectiveness of implementing corporate social responsibility of the Lao National Power Corporation, including strengthening the business capacity and competitiveness of the Lao National Power Corporation, creating a basis for well implement the corporate social responsibility, promoting the role of social supervision and criticism of the press, media, and public opinion of the people./.
