Information of the doctoral thesis: Hai Phong City Party Committee leadership of the work of security and order in the current period

Supervisor: Assoc. Prof, Dr. Le Kim Viet, training institution: Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Regarding new academics and theoretical contributions, the thesis contributes to clarifying the theory and practice of Hai Phong City Party Committee for security and order work in the current period. Firstly, clarify the position, role, content and leadership method of the Hai Phong City Party Committee for security and order work. Secondly, propose some solutions to strengthen the leadership of Hai Phong City Party Committee for security and order work in the new context and conditions, which emphasizes the renewal of the content and leadership of the City Party Committee, promote the self-governing role of the people and focus on building the People's Public Security force which is the core in maintaining security and order in the locality. Regarding new points drawn from research and survey results, the thesis proposes 6 solutions to strengthening the leadership of Hai Phong City Party Committee for security and order work in the current period. Firstly, raising awareness and responsibility of the City Party Committee, the whole political system, and all people in maintaining security and order. Secondly, continuing to innovate the leadership method of the City Party Committee for security and order work. Thirdly, focusing on government leaders at all levels to improve capacity, quality, effective state management over security and order work. Fourthly, relying on the people, promoting the self-governing role of the people and the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, mobilize the synergy of the whole society to maintain security and order. Fifthly, continueing to consolidate the organizational apparatus, improve the qualifications and professional capacity of the members and the specialized forces in charge of security work order, especially focusing on building a strong and comprehensive people’s police force, serving as the core in maintaining security and order. Sixthly, strengthening the inspection and supervision of the Party Committee of the Party and government organizations, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations; regularly summarize and draw experience from leaders in security and order work.
