In the morning of 9th April in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) organized the opening ceremony of a training course on artificial intelligence and digital transformation for officials, civil servants, and public employees. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Standing Vice President of the Academy, attended and delivered opening remarks at the event.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac said the rapid advancement of information technology and communication and the Fourth Industrial Revolution have fundamentally transformed the landscape of the countries around the world, while swiftly changing the methods of working, management, operations of agencies and organizations. This is also a favorable condition for Vietnam to proactively exploit the opportunities brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, bringing our country into a new era.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence and big data have become important technologies, gradually being widely applied in education; thereby contributing to optimizing teaching and learning activities, improving school management efficiency, etc. It is necessary for the HCMA to apply new science and technologies into the implementation of its duties as a national center for training and fostering mid-level and senior officials and political theoretical scientists of the Party, State and the political system. This is also one of the contents thoroughly grasped and implemented following the Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation issued by the Politburo.

This training course, which is organized from 9th April to 15th April by the Academy, provides leaders, managers, and officials involved in operating information technology systems, digital transformation in general, and smart governance models in particular with knowledge and skills to apply and deploy systems at units towards comprehensive digital transformation at the Academy.
