Opening Ceremony of the Advanced Political Theory Courses K76.A16, K76.B16, K76.B17, and K76.B18

On the morning of 20 January 2026, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) held the opening ceremony of the Advanced Political Theory Cohort K76, including the full-time course K76.A16 and the part-time courses K76.B16, K76.B17, and K76.B18. Dr. Dau Tuan Nam, Director of the Department of Training and Professional Development Management under the HCMA attended and chaired the ceremony.

Training Workshop on Human Rights Education for Teachers from Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong Provinces

From January 14–16, 2026, in Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in coordination with the Australian Human Rights Commission, organized a training workshop on human rights education for 60 kindergarten, primary, and lower secondary school teachers from the three provinces of Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong.

Pursuant to Decision No. 7235-QĐ/HVCTQG dated 11 November 2025 of the President of the Academy, from 7 to 16 December 2025, a working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice President of the Academy, conducted a study, exchange, and professional training program in the United Kingdom. The working visit was organized within the framework of the 2025 Activity Plan of Project 587, aiming to enhance knowledge sharing and experience exchange with international training institutions and partners.

From evidence to action: Pilot results of the Gender Equality in Public Sector Index

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) has piloted the Gender Equality in the Public Sector Index with support from the Australian Embassy in Vietnam through the Vietnam Australia Centre (VAC). The pilot has generated important evidence to strengthen women’s leadership and inclusive governance, with the results discussed at a dissemination workshop in Hanoi on 18 December 2025.

Vietnam–Australia knowledge exchange sparks reform ambitions in Vietnam’s public sector

The Vietnam Australia Centre (VAC) recently concluded its second Foundational Partners Knowledge Exchange, empowering 18 senior Vietnamese government officials with practical insights to advance public sector reform. Held from 27 September to 8 October 2025, the program spanned Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Geelong, combining site visits, policy dialogues, and cultural exchange.

The Women in Leadership Journey 7 (WILJ7) in 2025 brought together 17 female leaders from the party, government agencies and relevant organisations in Vietnam.
