In line with the 2025 Training and Professional Development Plan for cadres, civil servants, and lecturers in political theory, on August 5, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) held the opening ceremony of the training course “Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education and Training Management 2025”, designed for staff engaged in training management within the Academy system.

Mr. Dau Tuan Nam, Director of the Department of Training and Professional Development Management delivered the opening remarks
In his speech, Mr. Dau Tuan Nam emphasized that the rapid development of artificial intelligence is creating new opportunities for innovation in teaching methods, assessment, and educational management. The application of AI is not only a trend but also an urgent requirement to improve the quality of training and professional development. However, this also places higher demands on the professional expertise, technological proficiency, adaptability, and innovative capacity of cadres, civil servants, and lecturers.
As a pioneering institution in applying modern technology to teaching, learning, management, and task execution, the HCMA has identified the adoption, mastery, and effective use of AI in teaching, management, process optimization, and promotion of digital transformation in education and training management as a key priority.
The Director of the Department expressed his hope that, with the dedication of experts and the organizing committee, together with the active and responsible participation of lecturers, the training course will not only serve as an opportunity for learning and skill development but also as an important step affirming the Academy’s pioneering role in applying technology in general, and AI in particular, to enhance the quality of training and professional development.

During the program, participants will study and engage with specialized modules, focusing on key topics such as: innovation in the Academy’s training and professional development activities; an overview of AI and its applications in education and training; skills in using ChatGPT and AI chatbots for admissions and learner management; AI applications in classroom organization and assessment; and practical exercises on building training programs integrated with AI. These contents aim to strengthen system management in training and professional development across the Academy and its affiliated institutions.
